Colouring

Anthony James’ dedicated colour bank, uses Goldwell colour technology to create fabulous hair colours for our clients. Hair colouring gives great depth and vibrancy to any hair style and yet there are many options to chose from:

• Temporary colours – disappear after the first wash, ideal for special one off occasions.
• Semi permanent colours – lasting for 6 to 8 washes, a good option for trying out colours before commiting to a permanent colour.
• Permanent – great for covering grey hairs or altering the overall tone and depth of hair colour.  The colour won’t fade, but new growth at the tips will need to be coloured.
• Lightening – changing a darker shade of hair colour to a lighter colour can only be done using products which contain bleach.  Great effects can be achieve for some dramatic colour changes, however bleach is damaging to hair and will always weaken it.

Approx 1 in 25 people can suffer from an allergic reaction to hair colour, we can provide skin test for clients who request one or for those who think an allergic reaction is possible.  These are a simple patch than can be collected from the salon or posted out to clients prior to their visit.
